  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges on general admission tickets. However, if you need to reschedule your visit, please contact us, and we'll do our best to accommodate a different date or time.

  • Yes, for hygiene and safety reasons, both children and adults are required to wear socks at all times within the play areas. If you've forgotten to bring socks, don't worry—we have them available for purchase at reception.

  • Each play session lasts for 90 minutes. This ensures that all our guests have ample time to enjoy the facilities while allowing us to maintain a comfortable capacity and clean environment.

  • Yes, we offer convenient parking options for our guests. Rae’s Island is located in George Yard Shopping Centre, Braintree, where you’ll find a convenient multi-story car park just a short walk away. You can also park at Sainsbury’s or Tesco, both within easy walking distance.

  • With the exception of baby food, we kindly ask that no outside food or beverages be brought into Rae's Island. Our on-site café offers a variety of refreshments and snacks for your convenience.

  • For the safety of all children, we require that parents or guardians supervise their children at all times. Children should not be left unattended in any area of Rae's Island.

  • While walk-in admissions are welcome, we recommend booking your session online in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak times and weekends.

  • Rae's Island is designed specifically for children aged 0-5 years old. This ensures that the play environment is tailored to the developmental needs and safety of our young guests.

  • Yes, prams are welcome, but space is limited. We can accommodate a set number of prams per session, and if yours is foldable, it would help save space. If your child is a toddler, leaving the pram in the car would be appreciated to avoid inconvenience.

  • As we operate an online booking system, all payments are processed electronically. To minimise the risks associated with handling cash, we do not accept cash payments at the café.
